Restaurant Scenting in Portugal
BENDIS is a professional scenting company based in Madrid that makes its fragrances in Spain and publishes its prices. In Portugal it offers restaurants, tascas, seafood restaurants and pastry shops a monthly scenting plan from €29.90 + VAT per unit, with the nebulizer, fragrance and neutraliser included, no installation and no lock-in.
Portuguese cooking smells strong and good: grilled sardines and fish, seafood, churrasco chicken, fried salt cod. The problem is that the smell does not stay in the kitchen: it reaches the dining room, the customer's clothes and, in the small tascas of Lisbon and Porto, the street. In a marisqueira or churrasqueira the first step is the neutraliser in the passage and restrooms, and fragrance, if any, goes gently at the entrance.
We never put a diffuser in the kitchen: ASAE inspects food hygiene and HACCP self-checks require chemicals to be kept away from food. We work at low intensity with pauses during service. In pastry shops and cafés it is the other way round: the smell of coffee and cakes already sells, and scent only supports in restrooms and seating areas. With winter damp, ground floors with a cellar build up a stale smell that is also treated with the neutraliser.
The equipment arrives set up and with the fragrance included, ready to plug in. We advise remotely by phone, WhatsApp or email, with a few photos and the floor area.

Typical example: a 100 m² seafood restaurant in Lisbon with two restrooms. A FLOW in the dining room and two PULSE units with neutraliser in the passage and restrooms: €99.70 + VAT a month, fragrance and neutraliser included. From three units a volume discount applies. With the monthly plan, shipping to mainland Portugal is included; if you buy, it is free from €60.
What the monthly scenting plan includes

- Each month's fragrance. From the BENDIS perfumery range, made in Spain, refilled monthly, change scent whenever you like.
- Neutraliser. For frying, grilling, fish, restrooms or damp: the smell is removed, not masked.

- No lock-in. Cancel with 30 days' notice. Volume discount from three units.
How to get started in Portugal
- Tell us about your venue. Floor area, type of kitchen and what smell you want to remove or create. By phone (+34 911 09 70 50), WhatsApp or info@bendis.es.
- Receive the proposal. With the public rate: units, monthly fee and estimated use.
- The unit arrives set up. Within 7 calendar days at most, with your chosen fragrance and 5 ml samples.
- Fragrance arrives every month. Adjust intensity and schedules in the app and cancel with 30 days' notice.

How much does restaurant scenting cost in Portugal?
From €29.90 + VAT a month per unit, fragrance included. A dining room of up to 120 m² is €39.90 + VAT a month with the FLOW. It is the BENDIS monthly scenting plan (what the industry calls scent diffuser rental), with no lock-in.
Can fish or grill smells be removed?
Yes, with the neutraliser, which removes the odour molecule instead of masking it. It goes in the passage between kitchen and dining room and in the restrooms, never inside the kitchen.
Does the scent interfere with the food?
Not when set up properly: clean fragrances, low intensity and pauses during service, focused on the entrance and restrooms.
How long does delivery to Portugal take?
7 calendar days at most after confirmation, with email tracking. With the monthly plan, shipping to mainland Portugal is included.
Can I buy the equipment instead of paying monthly?
Yes. The FLOW costs €79.99 including VAT and then you only pay for refills (250 ml for €34.99). The monthly plan pays off if you want fragrance and neutraliser included and nothing to worry about.
