Professional scenting in the Algarve
BENDIS is a professional scenting company based in Madrid that makes its fragrances in Spain and publishes its prices. In the Algarve it offers a monthly scenting plan from €29.90 + VAT, with diffuser and fragrance included, no installation and no minimum term, for hotels, villas and short-term rentals, restaurants, beach clubs, gyms, clinics and shops.
The Algarve runs on seasons. From Faro to Lagos, through Albufeira, Vilamoura, Portimão or Tavira, there are hotels, resorts, holiday villas and tourist apartments that never stop in summer and stay shut for weeks in winter. When they reopen, the first thing you notice is that closed-up, salty smell in the sofas, curtains and wardrobes. If the first guest of the season walks in to a musty smell, the review is off to a bad start.
In summer the problem changes: air conditioning all day, beach towels, sunscreen and kitchens at full tilt. In the marina restaurants of Vilamoura and Lagos, or the seafood places in Olhão and Portimão, kitchen and restroom smells drift into the dining room unless they are neutralized where they start.
There are also clinics, gyms and shops that work all year round with residents, many of them from abroad. The diffuser arrives configured, with the fragrance included, ready to plug in. No building work and no technician visit: we advise you remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, from photos and the size of the space.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to scent a space in the Algarve?
From €29.90 + VAT a month per unit, fragrance included. A living room or shop up to 100 m² is €37.90 + VAT a month with the LUME, and a lobby up to 600 m² is €54.90 + VAT with the ORBIT. It is the BENDIS monthly scenting plan, what the industry calls renting.
Can I have the plan only during high season?
Yes. There is no minimum term: start the plan when you open and cancel it with 30 days' notice when you close.
Which unit does a holiday villa need?
For a living room up to 100 m², a LUME (€37.90 + VAT a month). If the villa has been shut and smells of damp, add a neutralizer. In bathrooms without a window, a PULSE with neutralizer for €29.90 + VAT.
Does someone come to install it?
There is no need. The diffuser arrives configured for your space and with the fragrance you chose: place it and plug it in. All advice is given remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
Can I try the fragrances before deciding?
Yes. With the first order we send 5 ml samples so you can choose the fragrance in your own space, which is where the decision really gets made.
