Professional scenting in Lisbon
BENDIS is a professional scenting company based in Madrid that makes its fragrances in Spain and publishes its prices. In Lisbon it offers a monthly scenting plan from €29.90 + VAT, with diffuser and fragrance included, no installation and no minimum term, for hotels, short-term rentals (alojamento local), restaurants, offices, gyms, clinics and shops.
Lisbon lives off its visitors. In Baixa, Chiado, Alfama or Príncipe Real there are boutique hotels and short-term rentals in old buildings, and the first smell when the door opens counts as much as the photo on the listing. Narrow stairwells, flats with no cross ventilation and thick walls that hold on to that closed-up smell between one booking and the next.
The other enemy is damp. With the air off the Tagus and rainy winters, plenty of ground floors in Mouraria, Graça or Campo de Ourique start smelling musty as soon as they stay shut for a few days. Scent alone won't fix that: first you neutralize, then you scent. In Avenidas Novas, Saldanha or Parque das Nações the challenge is different: offices and coworkings with air conditioning all year round and meeting rooms that get stuffy in a single morning.
We also work with tascas and restaurants in Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré, cafés, gyms, clinics and shops in Lisbon, Oeiras or Cascais. The diffuser arrives configured, with the fragrance included, ready to plug in. No building work and no technician visit: we advise you remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, from a few photos and the size of the space.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to scent a space in Lisbon?
From €29.90 + VAT a month per unit, fragrance included. A space up to 100 m² is €37.90 + VAT a month with the LUME, and one up to 120 m² is €39.90 + VAT with the FLOW. It is the BENDIS monthly scenting plan (what the industry calls renting), with no minimum term.
Which unit does a short-term rental in Lisbon need?
For a typical holiday flat, a SENSE in the living area (up to 80 m², €34.90 + VAT a month) and, if the bathroom has no window, a PULSE with neutralizer (€29.90 + VAT). If the flat smells of damp, start with the neutralizer.
Does someone come to install it?
There is no need. The diffuser arrives configured for your space and with the fragrance you chose: place it and plug it in. All advice is given remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
Can I try the fragrances before deciding?
Yes. With the first order we send 5 ml samples so you can choose the fragrance in your own space, which is where the decision really gets made.
Is the monthly plan available in the Azores and Madeira?
No. The monthly plan is available in mainland Portugal. If your business is on the islands, write to info@bendis.es and we will look at your case.
