Professional scenting in Coimbra

BENDIS is a professional scenting company based in Madrid that makes its fragrances in Spain and publishes its prices. In Coimbra it offers a monthly scenting plan from €29.90 + VAT, with diffuser and fragrance included, no installation and no minimum term, for clinics, guesthouses, cafés, restaurants, offices, gyms and shops.

Coimbra revolves around its university. In the Alta, between the Universidade and the Sé Velha, there are student residences, shared flats and short-term rentals in old houses with steep stairs, and in the Baixa and Praça da República there are cafés, tascas and bookshops that stay busy all academic year. Many of these buildings are stone, with little light and barely enough ventilation: the closed-up smell shows up as soon as they stay shut for a few days.

The Mondego brings fog and damp for a good part of the year, especially to ground floors near the river. In a short-term rental, that turns into guest reviews mentioning a musty smell. The fix is to neutralize first and scent afterwards, never the other way round.

Coimbra is also a healthcare city. Around Celas and the hospital area there are dental, physiotherapy and aesthetic clinics where the waiting room has to smell clean, without the smell of disinfectant and without strong perfumes. The diffuser arrives configured, with the fragrance included, ready to plug in. No building work and no technician visit: we advise you remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, from photos and the size of the space.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to scent a space in Coimbra?

From €29.90 + VAT a month per unit, fragrance included. A waiting room up to 80 m² is €34.90 + VAT a month with the SENSE, and a café up to 100 m² is €37.90 + VAT with the LUME. It is the BENDIS monthly scenting plan (what the industry calls renting), with no minimum term.

Can a clinic be scented?

Yes, in common areas: reception, waiting room and corridors, at low intensity and with soft notes such as green tea or lavender. Treatment rooms and sterile areas are not scented.

Does someone come to install it?

There is no need. The diffuser arrives configured for your space and with the fragrance you chose: place it and plug it in. All advice is given remotely, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.

Can I try the fragrances before deciding?

Yes. With the first order we send 5 ml samples so you can choose the fragrance in your own space, which is where the decision really gets made.

Can I change the fragrance later on?

Yes, whenever you like. Fragrance arrives every month and you can switch it, for example to something fresher in summer and warmer in winter, at no extra cost.
