What it costs to scent a restaurant, zone by zone

There are usually two lines of work: scenting the entrance and dining room, and neutralizing toilets and the back office. These are BENDIS public rates: monthly fee excluding VAT, with diffuser and product included.

Real example: a restaurant with a 120 m² dining room and two toilets is covered with a FLOW in the dining room and two PULSE units with neutralizer in the toilets, €99.70 + VAT a month in total. If you add a private room with a SENSE, it comes to €134.60 + VAT, already including the volume discount for more than three diffusers.

What the monthly scenting plan includes

The plan is a fixed monthly price per zone. No small print and no charges that appear later. It is available in Spain and Portugal; in other countries you can buy the diffuser and order refills separately.

How it gets started

From the moment you write to us to the moment your venue smells good takes just a few days. This is the whole process.

1. Tell us about your venue dining room size, number of toilets and whether there is a covered terrace or unventilated private rooms.
2. Choose the fragrance we send you 5 ml samples at €1.50 to test in your own dining room before deciding.
3. Receive the diffuser it arrives configured with the fragrance inside, takes 5 minutes to place and is scheduled by service times.
4. Monthly refill every month you receive the refill at your venue and we adjust intensity if you need it.

Frequently asked questions about restaurant scenting

How much does it cost to scent a restaurant per month?

The BENDIS monthly scenting plan starts at €29.90 + VAT per zone, with diffuser and fragrance included, in Spain and Portugal. A dining room up to 120 m² with the FLOW costs €39.90 + VAT. A restaurant with a dining room and two neutralized toilets comes to €99.70 + VAT a month in total, with no setup fee. Outside Spain and Portugal you can buy the diffuser with delivery across Europe.

Does the scent compete with the smell of food?

Not if it is chosen well. At BENDIS we work the dining room with neutral notes at low intensity: the scent is noticed on entering and fades into the background while people eat. We never use sweet notes near the kitchen. The most common dining-room diffuser is the FLOW, €39.90 + VAT a month.

Does it work on frying, damp or stale-air smells?

For that BENDIS uses neutralizers, not fragrance. They are specific formulas for kitchens, damp and tobacco that act on the compound causing the odour. In toilets and the back office the usual diffuser is the PULSE, €29.90 + VAT a month, covering up to 7 m² with 50 ml of product a month.

Is there a minimum term, building work or installation cost?

None of the three. BENDIS diffusers are standalone, take 5 minutes to place and need no building work or wiring. There is no setup fee or technician visit, and the service, which many look for as scent diffuser renting, can be cancelled with 30 days' notice, from €29.90 + VAT a month in Spain and Portugal.

Can I have the same fragrance in several venues?

Yes. BENDIS has scented more than 500 spaces, and for restaurant groups we roll out the same scent signature across all venues. From three diffusers a volume discount applies. You can start with one, try 5 ml samples at €1.50 and extend it to the rest later.
