What it costs to scent a café, zone by zone

In a café almost everything is decided at the entrance and in the toilets. These are BENDIS public rates: monthly fee excluding VAT, with diffuser and product included.

Real example: a 100 m² café with seating area, counter and one toilet is covered with a LUME, a SENSE and a PULSE with neutralizer, €102.70 + VAT a month in total, already including the volume discount from three diffusers. If you only want to cover the entrance and the toilet, a LUME plus a PULSE comes to €67.80 + VAT a month.

What the monthly scenting plan includes

The plan is a fixed monthly price per zone, with everything needed to keep it running. It is available in Spain and Portugal; in other countries you can buy the diffuser and order refills separately.

• No minimum term cancel with 30 days' notice, and from three diffusers the volume discount applies.

How it gets started

You can have your venue scented without closing for a single service.

1. Tell us about your venue room size, whether there is a separate bar, toilets and back office, and your busiest hours.
2. Choose the fragrance we send you 5 ml samples at €1.50 to test in your room, with the coffee in the background, before you decide.
3. Receive the diffuser it arrives configured with the fragrance inside, takes 5 minutes to place and is scheduled by time slots.
4. Monthly refill every month you receive the refill and we adjust the intensity to the season or a change in opening hours.

How much does it cost to scent a café per month?

The BENDIS monthly scenting plan starts at €29.90 + VAT per zone, with diffuser and fragrance included, in Spain and Portugal. The entrance and seating area up to 100 m² cost €37.90 + VAT with the LUME. A venue with seating area, counter and one toilet comes to €102.70 + VAT a month in total. Outside Spain and Portugal you can buy the diffuser with delivery across Europe.

Does the scent clash with the smell of coffee?

If chosen well, it reinforces it. At BENDIS we avoid strong notes near the counter and work at low intensity in the seating area. Cappuccino and vanilla work in classic cafés; citrus and green tea in brunch and specialty coffee spots. You have more than 300 references and 5 ml samples at €1.50 to try.

What do I do about odours in the toilet and back office?

There BENDIS doesn't use fragrance, it uses a neutralizer: a formula that acts on the compound causing the bad smell instead of masking it. The usual diffuser is the PULSE, €29.90 + VAT a month, covering up to 7 m² and using about 50 ml of product a month, included in the fee.

Can it be scheduled for the breakfast rush?

Yes. All BENDIS diffusers let you set days, time slots and intensity by cycles, so you can boost the entrance from 8 to 12 and lower it in the afternoon. That makes the product last longer: a LUME uses about 150 ml a month and costs €37.90 + VAT, refills included.

Is there a minimum term or installation cost?

Neither. BENDIS diffusers are standalone, take 5 minutes to place and need no building work or wiring. The service, which many people look for as diffuser renting, can be cancelled with 30 days' notice and starts at €29.90 + VAT a month in Spain and Portugal, with no setup fee or technician visit.
