Care home scenting and odour control in Lisbon

Short answer: in a Lisbon care home (lar de idosos) the smell is usually urine plus Atlantic damp. It is solved with cold-air nebulisers loaded with neutraliser (Jasmine for urine, Aloe Vera for damp) in bathrooms, rooms and corridors, and soft fragrance only at the entrance. Many Lisbon care homes run in older buildings in Arroios, Campo de Ourique, Benfica or Lumiar, with thick walls, little cross ventilation and rainy winters. Others are in the metropolitan area, in Oeiras, Amadora, Loures or south of the Tagus, in newer and larger buildings. In the older ones damp fixes the smell; in the large ones the challenge is spreading the neutraliser over many square metres.

How we work with care homes in Lisbon

Remotely, without site visits: photos and sizes of each area by WhatsApp, to info@bendis.es or on +34 911 09 70 50. We send the proposal in Portuguese, English or Spanish, 5 ml samples and the safety data sheets. The diffusers arrive configured at low intensity within 7 days.

Frequently asked questions about care homes in Lisbon

Is the monthly plan available in Portugal?

Yes, in mainland Portugal at the same price as in Spain, with delivery included. In the Azores and Madeira you buy the diffuser.

How do I remove urine and damp odours at the same time?

With two neutralisers depending on the area: Jasmine in bathrooms and rooms, Aloe Vera in corridors and ground floors. Always after cleaning and ventilation, not instead of them.

Is it safe for residents?

It is used at low intensity, in the air, never on people or food, with the safety data sheet of each product available to the home.

How long does delivery take?
