France welcomes more international tourists than any other country, and its hotels are rated from 1 to 5 stars under Atout France criteria, with the Palace distinction for a select few. In a 4 or 5-star hotel in Paris, Lyon or Bordeaux, the scent of the lobby gets the same attention as the bed linen: it is the first thing guests notice and what they remember when they book again.
The building decides the setup. In Paris and Lyon many hotels sit in older buildings with narrow corridors over several floors, so scent is spread by zones: one unit at reception and smaller ones in corridors and the breakfast room. Newer hotels in La Défense, Euroméditerranée in Marseille or the Riviera resorts usually have ducted air conditioning, where a single diffuser connected to the ducts scents several areas at once. In the Alps (Chamonix, Courchevel, Megève) the challenge is different: heating on full, windows shut and the smell of boots and damp in the ski rooms, where you neutralise first and scent second.

What a hotel scent diffuser costs in France
In France we sell the equipment: you pay once and it is yours. The monthly plan with the diffuser included is only available in Spain and Portugal. Purchase prices including VAT:

For mid-sized areas there is the WAVE (up to 875 m², €224.99). Fragrance refills: 150 ml for €29.99 and 250 ml for €34.99. With a monthly subscription in the same size you pay 10% less (€26.99 and €31.49) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to France: €19.90 up to 2 kg and €24.90 from 2 to 5 kg.
Typical example: a 25-room boutique hotel in Lyon. An ORBIT at reception (€149.99) and two SENSE units in the main corridor and breakfast room (€179.98): €329.97, paid once. They use about 500 ml a month, so two 250 ml refills.

- App control. Lower the intensity at night and raise it at check-in time without relying on anyone.
- 5 ml samples with your first order. So you choose the fragrance in your own lobby.
- Odour neutraliser where needed. Ski rooms, spa changing rooms or restrooms: the smell is removed, not masked.
- Remote advice in French or English. By phone, WhatsApp or email, with photos and floor area. No installation, no building work, no technician visit.

How much does a professional scent diffuser for a hotel in France cost?
For an open-plan lobby, the ORBIT (up to 600 m²) costs €149.99. If the hotel has HVAC ducts, the HALO (up to 800 m², €194.99) scents several areas from a single point. Prices include VAT; after that you only pay for fragrance.
Can the diffuser be connected to the hotel air conditioning?
Yes, with the HALO, ATMOS or NOVA, which attach to the existing ducts. No building work is needed: the unit connects to the supply air and is programmed from the app. Without ducts, scent is spread with standalone units in each area.
How long does shipping to France take, and are there customs fees?
7 calendar days at most from order confirmation, with email tracking. France is in the European Union, so there are no customs or duties and VAT is already included. Shipping costs €19.90 up to 2 kg.
Is there a monthly scent diffuser rental in France?
No. The monthly plan with equipment and fragrance included is only offered in Spain and Portugal. In France you buy the diffuser, it is yours, and you can subscribe to the fragrance for 10% less.
Does the scent bother guests who are sensitive to smells?
Not when it is set up properly. We recommend scenting reception, corridors and spa, not the rooms, at low intensity with scheduled pauses. Cold-air nebulisation uses no heat or water, so the fragrance does not burn or leave residue.
