Lyon is a food city. In the bouchons of Vieux Lyon and the Presqu'île, the smell of the kitchen is part of the experience and nobody wants to hide it. What does bother guests is a stuffy toilet, an entrance that smells of frying when the door opens, or a vaulted cellar that smells of damp. So we work in two steps: odour neutraliser where the problem is, and a light fragrance at the entrance that you turn down from the app during service.
The other Lyon is the office city. How much does a professional scent diffuser cost in Lyon?
In France you buy the unit: you pay once and it is yours. The monthly plan with the diffuser included is only available in Spain and Portugal. Purchase prices including VAT:

For very small spaces there is the ROAM (up to 4 m², 59,90 €), and for large areas the WAVE (up to 875 m², 224,99 €). Fragrance refills: 150 ml for 29,99 € and 250 ml for 34,99 €. With a monthly subscription in the same size you pay 10% less (26,99 € and 31,49 €) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to France: 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
A typical Lyon example: an 80 m² bouchon in Vieux Lyon with one toilet. A FLOW in the dining room (79,99 €) and a PULSE with neutraliser in the toilet (72,99 €): 152,98 €, paid once. The FLOW uses about 250 ml a month, which the 250 ml subscription (31,49 € a month) covers.

Can you scent a Lyon bouchon without masking the smell of the kitchen?
Yes, and that's what we recommend. The fragrance goes at the entrance and in the dining room at low intensity, scheduled in the app to drop or stop during service. In toilets and damp areas such as vaulted cellars, we use neutraliser, which removes bad smells without adding scent.
