Bordeaux is pale limestone and a river. The 18th-century buildings of the Triangle d'Or, between Cours de l'Intendance, Allées de Tourny and Place des Grands-Hommes, have high ceilings, thick walls and ground floors that hold on to the damp of the Garonne and the Atlantic climate. For shops on Rue Sainte-Catherine or in the Saint-Pierre district, that means a stale smell you need to neutralise before adding scent, and room volumes that call for a unit one step above what the floor area alone suggests.

How much does a professional scent diffuser cost in Bordeaux?
In France you buy the unit: you pay once and it is yours. The monthly plan with the diffuser included is only available in Spain and Portugal. Purchase prices including VAT:

For very small spaces there is the ROAM (up to 4 m², 59,90 €), and for large areas the WAVE (up to 875 m², 224,99 €). Fragrance refills: 150 ml for 29,99 € and 250 ml for 34,99 €. With a monthly subscription in the same size you pay 10% less (26,99 € and 31,49 €) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to France: 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
A typical Bordeaux example: a 100 m² clothing shop on Rue Sainte-Catherine with two fitting rooms. A LUME in the shop (109,99 €) and a PULSE in each fitting room (2 × 72,99 €): 255,97 €, paid once. The LUME uses about 150 ml a month, which the 150 ml subscription (26,99 € a month) covers.

How much does a scent diffuser for a shop in Bordeaux cost?
For a shop of up to 100 m², the LUME costs 109,99 € including VAT; for a smaller space (up to 80 m²), the SENSE costs 89,99 €. With high ceilings, as in many buildings in the centre, it's worth going one step up in coverage. After that you only pay for fragrance: 29,99 € for 150 ml, or 26,99 € a month on subscription.
Can you use scent in a wine bar or tasting room?
Not in the tasting room itself: fragrance interferes with the wine. We recommend scenting the entrance, the shop and the toilets and leaving the tasting area neutral. In the toilets you can use neutraliser, which removes bad smells without adding scent.
How long does delivery to Bordeaux take, and are there customs charges?
One week at most (7 calendar days) from order confirmation, with a tracking number sent by e-mail. France is in the European Union, so there are no customs or duties and VAT is already included in the price shown. Shipping costs 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
Can I try the fragrances before deciding?
