A lot of Berlin is Altbau: pre-war buildings with a rear courtyard (Hinterhof), damp cellars and stairwells where the air never moves. In a café in Prenzlauer Berg or a Kneipe in Neukölln that damp background mixes with coffee and cooking. There the first step is not adding fragrance but neutralising, and only then choosing a scent that does not compete with what you serve.
In Mitte around Alexanderplatz and Potsdamer Platz, and in Charlottenburg along the Kurfürstendamm, the job is different: hotels and shops where the scent is part of the brand and has to smell the same at 8 am as at 10 pm. In the coworkings and offices of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain we go for low intensity and clean notes that do not get tiring over a full working day.

What scenting a venue in Berlin costs
In Germany you buy the diffuser: you pay once and it is yours. The monthly plan with the diffuser included is only available in Spain and Portugal. Purchase prices including VAT:

For very small spaces there is the ROAM (up to 4 m², €59.90) and for large areas the WAVE (up to 875 m², €224.99). Fragrance refills: 150 ml for €29.99 and 250 ml for €34.99. With a monthly subscription of the same size you pay 10% less (€26.99 and €31.49) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to Germany: €19.90 per parcel up to 2 kg.
A typical Berlin example: a 90 m² café in Prenzlauer Berg with one restroom. A LUME in the seating area (€109.99) and a PULSE with neutraliser in the restroom (€72.99): €182.98, paid once. The LUME uses about 150 ml a month, so the 150 ml subscription (€26.99 a month) covers it.

How it works from Berlin

- Control it from the app. Intensity, schedules and weekdays. Reorder fragrance when you need it, or subscribe and pay 10% less.
Frequently asked questions about scenting in Berlin
How much does it cost to scent a venue in Berlin?
You buy the diffuser once: €79.99 for the FLOW (up to 120 m²), €109.99 for the LUME (up to 100 m²) or €149.90 for the ORBIT (up to 600 m²), VAT included. After that you only pay for fragrance: €29.99 for a 150 ml refill or €26.99 a month with a subscription.
Does it work in a damp Altbau building?
Yes. In the problem areas (restrooms, cellar, passage to the courtyard) we use a neutraliser, which acts on the odour molecule instead of masking it, and keep fragrance for the main room. No building work or wiring: plug the diffuser in and schedule it from the app.
How long does delivery to Berlin take, and are there customs?
Within one week (7 calendar days) of order confirmation at the latest, and you get the tracking number by e-mail as soon as the parcel ships. Germany is in the EU, so there are no customs or duties and German VAT is already included in the price you see. Shipping costs €19.90 per parcel up to 2 kg.
Can I test the fragrances first?
Yes. With your first order we send 5 ml samples so you can smell them in your own space, which is where the decision really gets made. If you like a sample more than the fragrance you picked, just order that one with your next refill.
Is there a monthly plan with the diffuser included in Germany?
