On 11 September 2026 MuyPymes published an article about BENDIS with a headline that sums up quite well what we are trying to do: BENDIS: the young entrepreneur who wants to democratise scent marketing for small businesses.
What the article is about
The piece explains that scent marketing had been a matter for luxury hotels and large chains for years, and that the reason was not the technology but the price it was sold at in Spain.
The line the article picks up makes it clear: the big names in the sector charge three times as much because they carry a huge structure that has to be paid for. Sales reps, regional offices, technical visits and long contracts. All of that ends up inside the customer's monthly fee.
The figures quoted
- Spanish company founded in 2025, based in Madrid.
- Founder aged 25, a mechanical engineer.
- More than 300 scented spaces in Spain.
- Scenting fee from €29.90 + VAT a month, diffuser and monthly fragrance included.
- Equipment imported directly, with no middlemen.
Why we publish our prices
In this sector almost nobody shows a price list. You have to ask for a quote, wait for a sales rep and sign a long minimum term before you find out what it costs to scent a 100 square metre space.
We do the opposite: prices are published, the diffuser is included in the fee and there is no forced minimum term. You can compare with the rest of the market in the price index of professional scenting in Spain and see the business terms in scenting for businesses.
A day later, Merca2 published another article, this one about the business model. We cover it here: Merca2 looks at the BENDIS model.
