Price Index for Professional Scenting in Spain

Scenting a commercial space in Spain costs between 29.90 € and 94.90 € per month plus VAT per unit on a monthly plan, or between 59.90 € and 389.99 € to buy the diffuser outright plus 24.99 € to 34.99 € for each fragrance refill. This page lists the public BENDIS rates, unit by unit, and updates them every quarter. It is the only professional scenting price reference published in Spain that puts coverage, consumption and fragrance cost in the same table.

Why this index exists

Professional scenting in Spain is almost always sold without a public rate card: a service contract, a custom quote, and the cost of the equipment buried inside the monthly fee. With no visible prices there is no way to compare. BENDIS has published its own since 2025 and gathers them here so that any business can know, before asking for a quote, what a reasonable price looks like.

The monthly fee includes the configured diffuser and that month's fragrance; it runs indefinitely and is cancelled with 30 days' notice. Purchase prices are the online store's retail prices, VAT included. Consumption figures are indicative, for a commercial space on standard opening hours.

Volume discounts apply from three units on a monthly plan. Fragrance figures for the purchase option are approximate: they depend on running hours and on the intensity setting.

How to read the index

Three things set the price of professional scenting: the square metres to be covered (which determine the unit), fragrance consumption (which grows with both floor area and running hours) and how the service is contracted. The sector, the city or the category of the business do not change the price: a 600 m² hotel and a 600 m² gym pay the same.

When comparing a scenting quote against this index, ask the supplier to break out equipment, fragrance and service separately. If the monthly fee cannot be broken down, it usually carries margin that does not correspond to any product.

European references (published prices, September 2026)

Outside Spain, most professional scenting providers do not publish rates either. The exceptions are few and are listed here as they appear on each company's website, in their currency and their model, according to their websites in September 2026. The two tables place the BENDIS monthly fee and purchase prices next to what the European market currently publishes for rental and purchase.

Reading the fees: the published range runs from 19.75 €/month (Natural Mood Makers, under 100 m²) to 99 €/month or more (Bayscent). BENDIS sits between 29.90 € and 94.90 € + VAT depending on the unit, with each month's fragrance included and no minimum term; Sense Company sets a 36-month contract. Reading the purchase prices: for about 150 m², Sense Company publishes 698.50 € (Sense One), Duftair 159 € (SA-150) and BENDIS 149.99 € (ORBIT, up to 600 m²); for 1,000 m² or more, Zaluti publishes 1,495 € (ModulAir XL, 1,000 m²) and BENDIS 389.99 € (NOVA, 1,600 m²).

The figures are not homogeneous. Third-party fees are published without stating whether they include VAT, the fragrance included varies or is not stated, and coverage in square feet has been converted at 1 sq ft = 0.093 m². Prices in dollars, Norwegian kroner and Romanian lei are left in their currency. In Poland, the independent guide zwiadowca.pl places subscriptions between 150 and 800 zł net per month per zone and diffusers between 1,500 and 8,000 zł. For a rigorous comparison, ask each provider for a breakdown of unit, fragrance and service.

ScentAir, Prolitec/Ambius, Air Aroma, Mood Media, Scentys, Initial, EcoScent and Aromatise do not publish prices on their websites; they work with custom quotes. Methodology and updates

Prices are the public BENDIS rates on bendis.es on the date of this edition. Coverage figures are those stated on the product pages. Consumption figures are indicative averages taken from real use of the units by BENDIS customers in Spain, in spaces on standard opening hours. The index is reviewed every quarter (March, June, September and December) and each edition keeps its date in the header.

No. Units arrive pre-configured and are placed with no building work, no installation and no technician visit.

Why do purchase prices include VAT and monthly fees do not?

Purchase prices come from the online store, aimed at consumers, and are shown with VAT. Monthly fees are a business service and are quoted excluding VAT, as is standard in business-to-business invoicing.

When does buying beat the monthly plan?

From the fourth or fifth month onwards, buying is cheaper in total cost. The monthly plan makes sense when you want no upfront outlay, when you want to change scent every month, or when the space is temporary.
