Scent diffusers for cafés, offices and shops in Utrecht
Along the Oudegracht, many cafés and restaurants occupy the old wharf cellars (werfkelders), below the street and right on the canal. They are vaulted spaces with no windows and constant damp. Scent alone will not fix that: first you neutralise the musty, closed-in smell, then you add a soft fragrance in the dining area. Around the Neude, the Domplein or Lombok, bars and restaurants in old houses face much the same problem.
In Hoog Catharijne and the shopping streets of the centre, shops want a signature scent customers recognise as they walk in. Offices next to Utrecht Centraal, in Leidsche Rijn or at the Utrecht Science Park run ducted air conditioning and open-plan floors: low intensity, clean notes and set schedules. Dutch speakers call this geurmarketing. If you are exhibiting at the Jaarbeurs, a plug-in diffuser on the stand is enough.
We also supply businesses in Nieuwegein, Zeist, Houten, Maarssen and Amersfoort on the same terms. Advice is remote: send us the floor area and photos by WhatsApp or e-mail and we will recommend the unit, where to place it and the fragrance. BENDIS publishes its prices and ships across the whole EU from Madrid (Torre Europa, Paseo de la Castellana 95).

Scent marketing in Utrecht: frequently asked questions
How do I get rid of the damp smell in an Oudegracht wharf cellar?
With neutraliser, not perfume. A PULSE (72,99 €) with neutraliser in the toilet or at the back of the cellar acts on the odour molecule itself. In the dining area, a FLOW (79,99 €) with a soft fragrance, placed towards the middle rather than by the door, so the scent reaches the back of the vault.
Can I scent a stand at the Jaarbeurs?
Yes, as long as you order in time: delivery takes 7 calendar days at most. For a stand of up to 80 m² a SENSE (89,99 €) is enough; it plugs in and is programmed from the app. After the fair the diffuser is still yours.
Are there customs charges or extra VAT when shipping to Utrecht?
No. The Netherlands is in the EU, so there are no customs or duties, and VAT is already included in the price you see. Your order arrives within 7 calendar days at most, with tracking by e-mail. Shipping costs 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
Can I smell the fragrances before I choose?
Yes. Your first order comes with 5 ml samples to try in your own space. If one suits you better than the fragrance you picked, order it with your next refill.
Is there a monthly diffuser rental plan in the Netherlands?
No. The monthly plan with the unit included is only available in Spain and Portugal. In the Netherlands you buy the diffuser and can subscribe to the fragrance.
