Professional scenting on the Amalfi Coast
BENDIS sells professional scent diffusers and fragrances made in Spain to businesses on the Amalfi Coast: boutique hotels, holiday villas, restaurants, beach clubs, spas and shops in Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano and nearby. You buy the diffuser once, from 79,99 € including VAT for a space up to 120 m², it arrives configured within 7 days at most and you control it from the app. No installation.
Here the hotels cling to the cliffs. In Positano and Praiano they are spread over several stepped levels, with stairs, short corridors and terraces over the sea; in Ravello many occupy palazzi and former convents with gardens; in Amalfi, historic buildings by the harbour. These are fragmented spaces, and a single large unit can't reach everywhere: one diffuser per floor or per zone works better.
The season runs from April to October and July and August are intense. Sea damp and salt get into fabrics, wardrobes and ground-floor rooms, especially when hotels reopen in spring. In the ceramics shops of Vietri sul Mare, the beachwear boutiques of Positano and the limoncello shops of Amalfi, scent goes with a souvenir purchase; in restaurants with terraces the fragrance stays inside and the terrace smells of sea and lemons. Ravello weddings fill salons and gardens for much of the year.

Professional scent diffuser prices on the Amalfi Coast
In Italy you buy the unit: you pay once and it is yours. The monthly plan with the diffuser included is only available in Spain and Portugal. Purchase prices including VAT:

Fragrance refills: 150 ml for 29,99 € and 250 ml for 34,99 €. With the monthly subscription for the same size you pay 10 % less (26,99 € and 31,49 €) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to Italy: 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
A typical Amalfi Coast example: a 15-room boutique hotel in Positano, spread over three levels, with a 50 m² reception, two floor corridors and one shared restroom. One SENSE in reception (89,99 €), two FLOW units in the corridors (159,98 €) and one PULSE with neutralizer in the restroom (72,99 €): 322,96 € one time.

Frequently asked questions about scenting on the Amalfi Coast
How much does it cost to scent a boutique hotel in Positano or Amalfi?
It's worked out zone by zone and you buy each unit once: 89,99 € for the SENSE in a reception up to 80 m², 79,99 € for the FLOW in each corridor up to 120 m² and 72,99 € for a PULSE with neutralizer in each shared restroom, VAT included. After that you only pay for fragrance: 34,99 € for a 250 ml refill or 31,49 € a month on subscription.
My hotel is on several stepped levels: one large unit or several small ones?
Several small ones. Scent doesn't travel well up stairs or between floors, so in a stepped building one unit per floor or per common area is better. In the app you program them all at once or each one separately.
Won't the fragrance clash with the lemon and sea smell of the terraces?
The fragrance works indoors: reception, corridors, rooms and shop. The terrace keeps smelling as it does. What does make sense is choosing a scent that doesn't fight that setting, and that's what the 5 ml samples in your first order are for: you test them in your own space before deciding.
How long does delivery to the Amalfi Coast take, and are there customs duties?
One week at most (7 calendar days) from order confirmation, and you get the tracking number by e-mail as soon as it ships. Italy is in the European Union, so there are no customs or duties and VAT is already included in the price. Shipping costs 19,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.
Is there a monthly diffuser rental in Italy?
