Tartu is Estonia's university city. Around Raekoja plats and on Rüütli street, cafés, bars and restaurants occupy historic buildings with vaulted cellars, and in Supilinn and Karlova small venues open in wooden houses. There the first job is to neutralise the cellar damp, then keep a soft fragrance in the room.
Aparaaditehas, the former factory turned creative quarter, brings together restaurants, studios and shops in high-ceilinged halls. In the science park, the Tasku centre and along the Emajõgi river there are offices and hotels with ducted ventilation. Winters are long and cold and the heating dries the air, so we adjust the intensity by season.
Advice is remote: send us the floor area and a few photos by WhatsApp or e-mail and we recommend the unit, placement and fragrance. No installation, no building work, no technician visit. We also ship to Elva, Otepää, Viljandi and Põlva on the same terms. BENDIS publishes its prices and ships from Madrid (Torre Europa, Paseo de la Castellana 95).

Scent marketing in Tartu: frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to scent a café on Raekoja plats in Tartu?
For a café of up to 100 m², a LUME for 109,99 € including VAT, and for the toilet a PULSE with neutraliser for 72,99 €. Fragrance from 26,99 € a month on subscription. Shipping to Estonia: 25,90 €.
How do you scent a converted hall in Aparaaditehas?
With high ceilings it is the volume that counts, not just the square metres. For up to 600 m² we recommend an ORBIT (149,99 €) at mid-height, and if there is ducted ventilation, a HALO (194,99 €) connected to it. With photos and the ceiling height we tell you how many units you need.
Are there customs charges if I order from Tartu?
No. Estonia is in the EU, so there are no customs or duties, and VAT is already included in the price you see. Shipping costs 25,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg and delivery takes 7 calendar days at most from confirmation, with tracking by e-mail.
Can I smell the fragrances before choosing?
Yes. Your first order includes 5 ml samples to try in your own space. If you like one more than the fragrance you chose, order it with your next refill.
Is there a monthly plan with the diffuser included in Estonia?
No. The monthly scenting plan with the unit included (also searched for as diffuser rental) only exists in Spain and Portugal. In Estonia you buy the diffuser once and can add a fragrance subscription, 10% cheaper and with no commitment.
