Commitment to sustainability

Scenting a space is not a neutral activity: it uses energy, produces packaging and moves goods around. We would rather explain what we do and what we don't than hang a green label on ourselves.

Refills, not aerosols

A professional aerosol air freshener burns through one metal can per month per diffusion point, propellant and valve included, and that can goes into the trash whole. Our units run on concentrated fragrance refills: you top up the liquid and the device stays the same one.

Cold-air nebulizing uses no propellants and no pressurized gases. It breaks the concentrate into microparticles using air pressure, with no heat and no dilution in water, so there is no water consumption either and no heating elements running all day.

The unit doesn't get thrown away

Under the rental model, the diffuser belongs to us and comes back to us when the customer's needs change, they move or they cancel. That changes the incentive: we have no interest in a cheap device that lasts one season, but in one that stays installed for years and that we can put back into service.

It is the difference between selling units and maintaining a fleet of equipment. A diffuser that breaks after eight months is our problem, not yours.

Concentrated, not diluted

We work with concentrated essence, not with product that has already been watered down. An average unit uses on the order of 250 ml a month: a small, light shipment compared with the volume and weight of moving the equivalent in diluted product or in aerosol cans. Less weight transported per month of scenting service.

European manufacturing and a short supply chain

The fragrances are made and bottled in Spain, at a plant with more than five decades of activity and its own quality and environmental management system in line with European regulations. We don't import the liquid from the other side of the world: the refill travels a few hundred kilometers to reach your premises.

Equipment compliance

Our diffusers meet the European CE and RoHS directives. RoHS is the one that matters here: it limits the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and brominated flame retardants in electronic components. It is not an eco-label, it is a legal restriction on hazardous substances, and it applies to the whole unit.

Adjusted intensity, not maximum

We size the unit above the square meters to be covered and then turn the intensity down, instead of putting in a barely adequate device that runs at its limit. It uses less fragrance, makes less noise, lasts longer and the result in the room is better. Scheduling by time slots also keeps the unit from diffusing while the premises are closed.

What we are not going to tell you

We are not going to call our fragrances "natural". They are professional perfumery compositions, with synthetic and semi-synthetic components, just like any commercial perfume you know. A "100% natural" scent with the stability and consistency a hotel demands does not exist.

We also have no sustainability certification, no eco-label and no footprint offsetting. If we ever get one, we will publish it with the certificate number and the body that issued it. Until then, we would rather explain how the product works and let you judge.

What you can do

Send the empty refill bottles back with your next order if that is convenient for you, don't size the unit below your square meters, and schedule diffusion only during your opening hours. Three small things that cut real consumption quite a bit.
