Short answer: the best professional diffuser is the one that covers the actual square metres of your space, not the most expensive one. For a business of up to 120 m², a cold-air nebulizer like the BENDIS FLOW (€79.99, VAT incl.) or the LUME (€109.99) is enough. For 600 m² or more, look at units like the ORBIT (€149.99), the HALO that connects to your HVAC system (€194.99) or the NOVA for 1,600 m² (€389.99).
How we ordered this ranking
We grouped the diffusers by the area they cover, because that is the first thing to look at. Within each group we considered:
- Stated coverage in m², according to the manufacturer or seller.
- Public price to buy and, where available, the monthly fee.
- Technology: cold-air nebulization (micro-droplets with no heat or water) versus other systems.
- Autonomy and connection: tank size, mains or battery power, and whether it connects to the HVAC system.
- Control: app programming, schedules and intensity.
We use the BENDIS models as a reference because we publish the price and coverage of every one of them. At the end we include alternatives from other brands with public pricing.

Diffusers for small spaces (up to 120 m²)
Clinics, hair salons, receptions, cafés and small shops. What matters here is noise, size and whether it can run without a cable.
Best value for money: BENDIS FLOW (120 m²)
The FLOW covers up to 120 m² with a 500 ml tank and costs €79.99. It comes with a cable and can also run on D batteries if there is no socket nearby. It is the one we recommend most for a standard business space. See BENDIS FLOW.
Quietest: BENDIS SENSE (80 m²)
At 30 dB or less, the SENSE is the quietest in the range. It suits clinics, private offices and spas, where any humming from a device is noticeable. It costs €89.99. See BENDIS SENSE.
With presence sensor: BENDIS LUME (100 m²)
The LUME has a radar presence sensor and fragrance level detection. Useful if your space is empty at certain times and you do not want to waste fragrance with nobody there. €109.99. See BENDIS LUME.
To switch scents: BENDIS AURA 5 (60 m²)
It holds five fragrances at once so you can alternate between them. It plugs into the mains. It costs €269.99, so it only makes sense if you really plan to rotate scents.
For bathrooms and small corners: BENDIS PULSE (7 m²)
Designed for toilets, fitting rooms or small rooms. It runs on a D battery, sold separately. €72.99.
Diffusers for medium and large spaces (600 to 875 m²)
Hotels, gyms, car dealerships, large shops and open-plan offices.
Standalone for 600 m²: BENDIS ORBIT
800 ml tank, radar sensor, level alert and anti-theft system. No building work needed: just put it in place and you are done. €149.99. See BENDIS ORBIT.
Connected to the HVAC system: BENDIS ATMOS (600 m²) and HALO (800 m²)
These are the two models in the range that connect to air conditioning ducts (HVAC), so the scent spreads throughout the whole system. The ATMOS has an external fan and a 1,000 ml tank (€229.99). The HALO covers 800 m² with 1,000 ml (€194.99).
Large standalone coverage: BENDIS WAVE (875 m²)
For warehouses, showrooms or halls with no ductwork available. €249.99.
Diffusers for very large spaces (over 1,000 m²)
BENDIS NOVA (1,600 m²)
The NOVA is the BENDIS unit with the widest coverage: 1,600 m² and a 1,500 ml tank, plugged into the mains. It costs €389.99, or €94.90/month + VAT on subscription with all fragrance included. See BENDIS NOVA.

According to its website, its most powerful nebulizers cover up to roughly 1,200 m² and are programmed via Bluetooth. Prices are not published on the homepage.
ScentAir, Ambiseint and Ambius
They use their own equipment as part of a service that includes installation and maintenance. They do not publish diffuser prices: it is quote-based.
How to work out which diffuser you need
- Measure the actual m² of the area you want to scent, not the whole premises if there are closed-off rooms.
- Check the ceiling height. With high ceilings the volume goes up, so it is worth going one model higher.
- Treat rooms separately. Two rooms with no shared airflow need two small units, not one large one.
- Decide between buying and subscribing. If you buy, factor in the cost of refills. A 250 ml refill lasts about a month with heavy 24-hour use.
If you are torn between two models, you can see the full range at bendis.es or compare the scenting subscription.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best professional scent diffuser for a business?
The one that matches your square metres. For spaces up to 120 m², the BENDIS FLOW offers the best value for money (€79.99, VAT incl.). For 600 m², the ORBIT. For more than 1,000 m², the NOVA.
What is a cold-air nebulizing diffuser?
It is a device that turns fragrance into micro-droplets with no heat or water. This spreads the scent evenly without altering how it smells.
How much does a professional diffuser for 100 m² cost?
At BENDIS, between €79.99 (FLOW, 120 m²) and €109.99 (LUME, 100 m²) including VAT. On a monthly subscription, from €37.90/month + VAT with fragrance included.
Can a diffuser be connected to the air conditioning?
Yes, if the model allows it. At BENDIS, the models that connect to HVAC ducts are the ATMOS (600 m²) and the HALO (800 m²).
How long does a 250 ml refill last?
With the diffuser running 24 hours a day, about a month. In a home, around two months, and with very light use, up to three or four.
Conclusion
Do not get carried away by power: a diffuser that is too big will overwhelm the space, and one that is too small will go unnoticed. Measure, choose by m² and compare published prices.
If you want to pay once, buy the equipment. If you would rather not invest upfront and have your fragrance covered every month, the scenting subscription is the easy option. Both are available at bendis.es.
