Mykonos lives off a short, intense season, from May to October, peaking in July and August. The whitewashed boutique hotels of Chora, Agios Stefanos or Ornos, with only a handful of rooms, compete for guests who arrive with high expectations and compare. The private villas of Agios Lazaros, Kalo Livadi or Elia are let by the week, and every changeover is a new first impression: open the door and it should smell clean, not closed-up or of the last guest's sunscreen.
Here the weather is in charge. The meltemi blows hard for much of the summer and carries off any scent in open spaces, so there is no point scenting terraces or outdoor areas: the diffuser goes inside, in reception, the lounge, the spa and the bathrooms. Salt and coastal damp settle into fabrics and wardrobes, especially when you reopen in spring after months closed, and that is when you neutralize before you perfume. In the beach clubs of Psarou or Paradise, the scent works in the restrooms, changing rooms and shop, not on the sand.

Fragrance refills: 150 ml for 29,99 € and 250 ml for 34,99 €. With the monthly subscription for the same size you pay 10 % less (26,99 € and 31,49 €) and can cancel anytime. Shipping to Greece: 25,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg.

Frequently asked questions about scenting in Mykonos
How much does it cost to scent a boutique hotel in Mykonos?
It's worked out zone by zone and you buy each unit once: 149,99 € for the ORBIT in a reception and lounge up to 600 m², 89,99 € for a SENSE in each suite or spa room and 72,99 € for a PULSE with neutralizer in each shared restroom, VAT included. After that you only pay for fragrance: 34,99 € for a 250 ml refill or 31,49 € a month on subscription.
Does the diffuser work on a terrace when the meltemi blows?
We don't recommend it outdoors: the wind disperses the fragrance in seconds and you use it up without noticing it. It works indoors: reception, living rooms, spa, bathrooms and shops. If you have a covered area enclosed on several sides, send us photos and we'll look at it.
My hotel closes from November to April: what do I do with the diffuser?
Nothing special. The unit is yours, so you pay no fee while it's idle. Switch it off from the app, empty the tank and store it somewhere dry. When you reopen, if the rooms smell damp, start with the neutralizer for a few days and then move on to the fragrance.
How long does delivery to Mykonos take, and are there customs duties?
One week at most (7 calendar days) from order confirmation, and you get the tracking number by e-mail as soon as it ships. Greece is in the European Union, so there are no customs or duties and VAT is already included in the price. Shipping costs 25,90 € per parcel up to 2 kg. Order before the season starts and you avoid the rush.
Is there a monthly diffuser rental in Greece?
