In interior design, real luxury is integration: something that works without being noticed. Scent is no different. A tabletop diffuser perfumes the room it is in. Scenting a whole house evenly is another matter.
The BENDIS FLOW is built for exactly that: covering a large space from a single point, discreetly and constantly, without anyone having to remember it is there.
Even coverage, not pockets of scent
The problem with small diffusers is not that they do not smell: it is that they smell strongly up close and not at all further away. The FLOW produces microparticles of 1 to 10 microns that stay suspended for hours and spread through the whole volume of the space, not just its immediate surroundings.
It goes at the point with the best air circulation (usually at mid height, near a walkway) and from there it works for the whole floor.
No water, no heat, no residue
The FLOW uses cold-air nebulising: pressurised air that atomises the pure fragrance, without diluting it in water and without heating it.
- No dilution. The scent keeps its full intensity, unlike an ultrasonic unit, where most of what comes out is water vapour.
- No humidity. It adds no humidity to the room, which matters in homes with condensation problems, with electronics or with wood.
- No residue. The particles are so small that they do not settle on surfaces or fabrics.
Programmable, so it runs itself
You can set schedules and intensity: more presence in the afternoon, less at night, off while nobody is home. Once configured, there is nothing to touch between refills.
It is best to keep the intensity low. If you notice the scent consciously, it is set too high: the aim is for it to be perceived without being identified.
If your home has ducted air conditioning
The FLOW does not connect to the air conditioning or to the ducts: it is a standalone unit that sits on a piece of furniture or a shelf and runs on batteries or USB-C. If you want to spread the scent through the ductwork of your climate control system, the models designed for that are the ATMOS and the HALO, for large spaces. In a typical home, a well-placed FLOW in a through area covers up to 120 m² with no building work or installation.
Maintenance
Minimal: replace the refill when it is due and clean the nozzle now and then with isopropyl alcohol. Never with water: it can clog the nebuliser.
Before you scent, check one thing
If there is a source of bad odour at home (a pet, damp, built-up cooking smells), no scent is going to cover it: it mixes with it and the result is perceived as worse than the original. There the first step is a neutraliser. How neutralisation works.
If you are unsure about the model
The unit is chosen by volume (square metres times ceiling height), not by floor area alone, and then adjusted for how the home ventilates. The catalogue lists the coverage of each model; tell us your square metres and we will tell you which one fits.
And before you decide on a scent, we send samples: the same fragrance smells different in a bottle and diffused in your home.
